Luminița Taburța, a gifted artist hailing from the Republic of Moldova, embarked on her creative journey with a graduation from the High School of Fine Arts in Chișinău in 1987. She furthered her artistic education at the esteemed Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, where she laid the foundation for her prolific career. Throughout her artistic path, she has showcased her work in numerous personal and group exhibitions, capturing the hearts of many.

With two decades dedicated to monumental painting projects, she proudly holds full membership in the Union of Artists in Russia and is a titular member of the Union of Visual Artists in the Republic of Moldova. Her paintings grace private collections across the globe, reflecting a diverse array of themes and inspiration.

Currently residing in Bucharest, Luminița is passionately engaged in her craft, contributing to the mosaic artwork for The Cathedral of the Salvation of the Nation, a project that underscores her commitment to artistry and cultural heritage.
